At newLife Behavior International, we believe that every person is created by God, loved by God, and capable of transformation through Jesus Christ. Our mission is to train Christian leaders around the world to equip their communities to put God's Word into practice. The following statements summarize the biblical convictions that guide our ministry.

What We Believe About the Worth of People

We believe that every human being is created in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent dignity, value, and worth. Human value is not determined by performance, status, ethnicity, education, wealth, success, or failure. Every person matters to God and is worthy of love, respect, and the opportunity to hear the Gospel. Though humanity has been affected by sin, the image of God remains the foundation of human worth. Because God loves people, we are committed to helping individuals discover their God-given value, purpose, and potential.

Scripture: Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 8:4-6; Psalm 139:13-16; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:10.

What We Believe About the Triune Nature of God

We believe there is one true and living God who exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three Persons are equal in nature, power, glory, and divinity while remaining one God. The Father is God. The Son is God. The Holy Spirit is God. Together, they work in perfect unity to accomplish God's purposes in creation, redemption, and restoration.

Scripture: Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3; 2 Corinthians 13:14.

What We Believe About God

We believe God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is holy, righteous, loving, merciful, just, and faithful. God desires a relationship with humanity and has revealed Himself through creation, Scripture, and most fully through His Son, Jesus Christ. God is actively involved in His creation and continues to work for the redemption and restoration of people around the world.

Scripture: Genesis 1:1; Psalm 19:1-4; John 3:16; Romans 1:20; James 1:17.

What We Believe About Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He is fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, revealed the Father, performed mighty works, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again. Jesus is the only Savior of the world and the only way to reconciliation with God. Through Him, people can experience forgiveness, transformation, purpose, and eternal life.

Scripture: Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-14; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Colossians 1:15-20; Philippians 2:5-11.

What We Believe About Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and works actively in the lives of believers. Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, draws them to Christ, indwells believers, empowers holy living, equips God's people for service, and transforms them into the likeness of Christ. Holy Spirit enables believers to bear spiritual fruit and live lives that honor God.

Scripture: John 14:16-17; John 16:7-13; Acts 2:38; Romans 8:9-14.

What We Believe About the Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy, and authoritative Word of God. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God revealed His truth through human authors. The Scriptures reveal God's character, His plan of redemption, and His will for our lives. The Bible is our final authority for faith, doctrine, and practice.

Scripture: Psalm 19:7-11; Psalm 119:105; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21.

What We Believe About Baptism

We believe baptism is the God-ordained response of faith and obedience to Jesus Christ. Following the example and command of Jesus, believers are baptized into Christ as a public declaration of faith and identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. Through baptism, believers publicly express their repentance, belief in God’s forgiveness, and promise of a new life in Jesus Christ.

Scripture: Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3-4; Galatians 3:26- 27; Colossians 2:12.
